Salsas Asturianas participates in the International Agri-Food Forum

The Japanese, the Americans and the Russians have been the agents that have demanded more products in this meeting. A very positive experience because of the number of foreign agents we interviewed.
The International Agri-Food Forum is a meeting point in Avilés for three days for companies in the sector with representatives from countries around the world. A total of 140 companies, 41 from Asturias, present their products to 60 commercial agents from five continents.

In total, there are about 1,500 interviews that await, of their fruits.

The Asturian agri-food sector last year exported products until November worth 154 million euros, the majority of food but also drinks. It was 4.19% more than a year earlier.

The Mayor of Avilés, Mariví Monteserín, referred to the 1st Agrifood Forum of Asturias, inaugurated in the Pavilion of Exhibitions of La Magdalena, as “the window of that natural paradise of which we feel so proud the Asturian, our best letter of introduction to the world”.

“It is the best seal of quality of our products and the best example of our ability to add the secret of our craft production to the new challenges that the society of knowledge assumes and demands,” said the mayor in her speech at the opening ceremony Of the forum.
